These are some great little chairs! With care, they can even support an adult weight in case you like to join your little one(s) for a puzzle or some imaginary tea. Ours had a defective mis-aligned part, but the manufacturer promptly sent us a full replacement chair, quickly and with no questions asked. I find them sturdy and stylish, and although you could use them with practically any children's table, we like the intimacy and corner-free safety of Lipper's companion children's round table:

I bought this set of two chairs to go with the "Lipper International Child's Rectangular Table and 2-Chair Set" because we needed a set with four chairs. I was looking for a heavy, quality table and chair set and that is exactly what I found in this set. The chairs are large enough and tall enough that even the teenagers can sit on them comfortably. These chairs are even sturdy enough to hold my husband who weighs 215 pounds.

The chairs were easy to put together and my husband's only complaint was the poor quality of the screws that came with the set. We went to our local hardware store and bought better quality screws.

The only reason I gave these chairs four stars instead of five was the poor quality of the screws that came with them.

These chairs arrived and were assembled for our grandchildren for Christmas. The finish on the chairs was somewhat poor: there were fingerprints in the finish coating, there were areas that weren't stained/varnished evenly, and there was an area on the front of one chair back on which a glob of glue had gotten on it (prior to staining/varnishing). I removed the glob, and now there is an area of unfinished wood. We kept the chairs, but they weren't the quality product we expected.

We got the extra set of two chairs to go with the Lipper table & chair set. They are great! They were fairly simple to put together and look fantastic! I got them for my 4-year old and she loves it.

One of the chairs broke - seemingly because of a flaw in the wood. The customer service had a new chair part out to me by the end of the week, after determining which piece had broken. It was so simple! I can't say enough good things about their response. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for quality chairs for their little ones.

The set and a table & two more chairs were shipped to my son as a gift for my granddaughter.
Here is what he reported:
The shipping & packaging was decent. The overall product quality is good. It looks nice and they feel sturdy.
Only downer: The chairs were impossible to put together without re-drilling the holes for the screws.
Also--for such a nice set, there weren't any plugs to cover the screws.
Overall, they are happy with the set.

I purchased the round table and four chairs a year ago as I wanted to do away with the primary color furniture in my grandchildren's room. From experience, I am fussy about chair design as so many children's chairs can easily tip backward. This set is rock solid and heavy--I can sit on the chairs very safely, and, sorry to say, I'm not a light-weight. The table has a little bonus shelf below the table top. I had an acrylic top cut to the exact size at a glass company so they can mess around on it without worrying about damaging the surface with paints, markers or whatever. I don't recall having any trouble assembling it. It should way outlast the needs of my grandchildren! Originally, the set was used on a tiled floor so I stuck felt tabs on all the chair and table legs, which was better all around.
On my last visit to my son & d-in-law's home in another city, I discovered they had the identical table & 2 chairs, but in the lighter color. They are also very satisfied with it.

We wanted an additional two chairs to go with our granddaughter's table and chairs. We purchased these in expresso and they are absolutely beautiful. I am so pleased with this furniture purchase and would recommend it to anyone. We bought the table/chairs, extra chairs/toychest/rocker and love all of the pieces. She uses them daily--and she's just 2-1/2. I envision her using these for several years and then passing/sharing them with her brother.

Received promptly and in great condition. I believe the description rates for under 100 pounds. Well these chairs have held up adults up to 185 pounds. Now we haven't sit there for long and you don't try to lean back in them but you can sit there and color with your wee ones. The toddlers have climbed in and out of these many times and the chairs do not wobble or fall over. They are great for our toddlers (15 months & 2.5 years) and they should be able to use the table and chairs for years to come.

I ordered 4 of these for the "kids" table. They are sized for 4-7 yr olds but they are pretty sturdy and arrived very fast! The only reason i don't give 5 stars is a couple of them are a teensy bit wobbly. However not enough to be hazardous and a couple of stick on felt tabs helped. I would buy these chairs again and recommend them.

I had a problem with one of them (the seat was broken). I called to the company, and they offered a very efeciente service to me. They sent a new part immediately to me.
