Stylish dish rack,

This dish rack is perfect! It's very pretty and I can stack an amazing amount of dishes, cookware and glasses on it, more stuff than you would imagine. My older rack - styled exactly like this one - finally wore out after many years and I ordered this one - fingers crossed it would be similar! I previously ordered and tried the larger 20 inch rack (slightly different style) but things kept falling off the ends and it was hard to keep it on the drain rack. Now I'm very happy with this Lipper dish rack.

for those who say it doesn't hold glasses.... you're putting them in wrong.,

I have this and have had 3 over the past several years. I love them. When you put your glasses on the lower rack... just lay them down facing outward if they are too tall. They aren't suppose to stand straight up. Try it and you'll see that you can put any glass on the bottom shelf if you just do it right. It's a no brainer! Also if it starts to loose it's NEW look, just oil it with a little mineral oil made for cutting boards. This product should last you a pretty long time.

Functional,

This dish rack is functional, but the small shelf on the bottom for glasses is not high enough for average glasses (great for coffee cups). There's no place to put silverware, and bowls tip over when put on the top drying shelf. No place for pots & pans or odd sized dishes. It folds up nice, is very compact & is very good quality. Great for single person or couple who don't use very many dishes.

Falling apart?,

It is a good light drying rack that is sturdy. I have owned it for 4 months now and a couple of the slats that receive the most use are starting to come loose off of the wood pieces that run the length of it. Pushing them back down fixes the problem temporarily, however it is still disipointing to have that happen so soon. On the positive side it supports a larger stack of dishes, pots, glasses, ceramic plates with ease. Dimensions are good such that a wide variety of items fit on the lower rack part.

Great Looking and Functional Too!,

I ordered this dish rack because I wanted something nice looking (and I love bamboo!) for my kitchen - the fact it could fold up and be put away was a bonus. After 8 months of daily use, I couldn't be more pleased! One suggestion I would make-order this flatware holder: Lipper 8823 2-Compartment Bamboo Flatware Holder with Metal Clips if you intend to dry any utensils. The top rack is inconvenient for them and they slip through the bottom rack. That aside, the rack is pretty and works well--I would highly recommend this item!

Dish rack is nicely made. No cheap staples to come out of the wood so easily like some. Very happy with the quality! Looks like this one will last!

Sturdy rack,

Bamboo has some great qualities. Works well for a dish rack because it does not tend to get waterlogged. This rack fits well under my cabinet allowing plenty of space for plates and even larger items to dry.

I got this just a few months ago and it is already moldy!
I'm getting a different one and would not recommend this AT ALL!

beautiful... and exactly what i expected,

it's a very simple rack but just what i expected when i ordered it. i really like the fact that it's bamboo - because MOLD is my enemy. i can't imagine putting clean dishes on a cheaper, pine dish rack. my house gets so humid in the summer that it would be sure to get moldy and it would be very hard to clean. i love the smooth texture of bamboo, plus it's easy to wipe down and keep clean.
