This is a great set for the price. It's as solid and has a finish as nice as a Pottery Barn Kids table. Perfect for families who want a set that blends with "adult" furniture. It's also sized well to grow from toddlerhood through grade school. An average-sized adult can even sit in the chairs comfortably so long as you don't expect to get your knees under the table. The chairs went together easily. Getting in half the screws for the table was tough, but you can avoid the problem by rubbing bar soap on the screws before you put them in. The shipping cost is absurd, but the seller provides a smooth transaction.

This item is good looking but fell apart after a couple weeks of light use. The problem with the product is that there is only solid wood top and legs but where you screw the legs into is partical board. Thank heavens my husband is a carpenter and was able to fix this my replacing the partical board. I wouldn't recommend this product.

We bought a Lipper brand table 1.5 years ago and it has never been sturdy. Although the wood is of good quality, the construction is not. The holes were not drilled properly and the legs are all cock-eyed and constantly move around. We have one little girl and she is not rough with furniture. We are already looking for another table. I HIGHLY recommend buying another brand. I would put zero stars if that was an option.
