I've just completed my RMA certification exam with a score of 97% and now have a great job as a Medical Assistant.I can honestly say that I attribute my success to having read and carefully studied this review book. Read all the material and complete each section of practice questions and you too will be on your way to success. The bonus CD with simulated exams was an extremely beneficial study tool. Use this book to study and your goal of RMA/CMA is easily reachable.

Very detailed and precise, yet easy to understand information. Highly recommend it to anyone preparing to take the CMA or RMA exams. I passed my RMA exam with a high score. If you want to pass those exams, get this book! I commend the authors, they know what MA students need to know to pass those tests.

This is a great book for anyone preparing to take a medical assisting exam! The lay out is great and makes studying much easier. I was able to get through the whole book in a week and feel confident going into the exam. The only thing that I didn't love was the CD ROM. It only has one practice exam on it for both test types. It would have been more helpful to have a couple different exams, better preparing you for the exam.

This book made it possible for me to pass the test. I highly recommend it. It's thorough and easy to work. It was so helpful and I was confident when I walked into the exam room. Thank you and kudos to the authors!

I ordered this book to prepare for the CMA exam and am happy to say I passed it! This book is concise and covers every area of study in the medical assistant's job position. I enjoyed the book's sample tests at the end of each chapter, at the end of the book, and on the cd-rom. Super fun way to go over what can be rigorous material. Beautifully done!

I agree with another person sharing their thoughts about studying this for the AAMA(MA) exam. It did not really help. I passed the exam, but not because of the book. I think AAMA exam carries higher standards and asked far more information than the book covered. I was very disappointed. I guess for general knowledge the book is pretty good, but not if your taking the AAMA (MA) exam

I passed my CMA. This book is good for reference, but not passing the exam. CMA has a higher standard.

This book is a great book to study for the CMA and RMA exams. I love the practice tests that show you the correct answer and why. The disk with all the practice exams on them is a big help and the book is easy to read. It just goes over the key points you would need to know and you do not have to sit through hours and hours of useless reading.

I just passed my RMA test today 10.29.09. I used this book as a study guide and it help me prepare this exam. Use the cd to practice testing.

I was very pleased with my recent purchase through amazon.com. The book arrived in the specified time and in perfect condition. I have been studying it and feel it was exactly as I expected to be. A great study tool to prepare for my upcoming CMA exam. So far, the questions I am reviewing are what I have studied in my accredited MA program. Would highly recommend.
