This was exactly what I needed for my class. Used it, passed with an A, and thank G-d ~~ landed a job in an acute care hospital as a CNA!!! Great product.

I received the book in a timely fashion. However, the description - when ordering - did not mention that the CD was not included. Chose this seller because of the description of the book's condition and the idea that the CD also was available. Otherwise, satisfied with my purchase. I will definitely use this book seller again.

I purchased this book to gain information about becoming a CNA and I'm very glad that I did. After searching the internet about CNA job info, I found this book to be the most informative and useful with regards to actual duties and responsibilities of a CNA.

The included CD is a DVD-ROM with my 3rd edition ©2012 Lippincott's Textbook for Nursing Assistants - it's a dvd-rom meaning it won't play in a DVD player, only on a computer. If you have a MAC (OSX) then you have to have a computer that was made before Intel Processors - SEVEN YEARS AGO~~~~!!!! Seriously?
The book is what is required by my school so it is what it is.. a textbook that you are required to purchase for class.

My rating is for an overall score based on the fact they refer you to a DVD-ROM that was made before Hurricane Katrina.

My school's bookstore only sells the bundled items, including the Workbook for Lippincott's Textbook for Nursing Assistants: A Humanistic Approach to Caregiving AND the Lippincott's Video Series for Nursing Assistants: Student DVD which is worthwhile watching before clinicals.

School's bookstore price was 25% less expensive than here for all three.

The Lippincott's Textbook For Nursing Assistants: A Humanistic Approach to Caregiving is incredibly redundant and easy to understand. It is easy to digest. You will enjoy it more than Dostoevsky.

I bought this book for a class. It is well written and easy to follow. It does a good job of explaining everything (although in my mind most of it is basic common sense). It also has very detailed procedural pages at the end of every chapter to help you learn the steps you need to follow. My only real complaint is that the tables and "info boxes" and "guide boxes" are both labeled using the term "Box". It seems a little nit picky but, it is annoying to sort out the different "boxes" when looking for information.
The service from this Amazon seller was excellent. I received my item in a timely manner and in excellent condition at about half the price that my classmates paid for their textbooks.

It was delivered in a week, even though Amazon said it could take up to two. the book was in the condition it was described as being in.

Seller described item just as it was delivered. Price was fair actually I believe I did get a good deal. Delivered in about 10 days as stated on the "rates and delivery" content. Overall I am absolutey satified with the seller and transaction.

This book was bought as "Used" for a very reasonable price. Contents very informative. The book was received about one week after my class begun...so, I was VERY disappointed with shipping. Fortunately, my instructor had an extra manual for me to use.
