SIN DUDA ALGUNA LIPSTICK ES UNO DE LOS MEJORES CD'S DE ALE, SI NO ES QUE EL MEJOR, CLARO QUE NO HAY QUE QUITARLES CREDITOS A OTROS DE SUS CD'S COMO SOY, LIBRE, ALGO NATURAL, ETC. ESTE CD CONTIENES NUEVOS RITMOS PARA ALEJANDRA LO CUAL ME PARECE MUY BUENOS YA QUE LA HACE SER UNA ARTISTA QUE VA A LA BANGUARDIA.
LAS CANCIONES SON PRADISIMAS. LA VERDAD TODAS SON MUY BUENAS. DEMORO MAS DE DOS ANOS EN SACAR ESTE CD, PERO SABES QUE ONDA, VALIO LA PENA LA ESPERA YA QUE EL CD TE CONAGIA CON LA BUENA MUSICA QUE TIENE. SIN DUDA ALGUNA ES UN CD. QUE SE VA A CONVERTIR EN UN CLASICO. TE ASEGURO QUE NO TE ARREPENTIRAS EN COMPRARLO.

Her previous album, "SOY" was a huge hit that even brought her a Grammy award. The album was produced by Randy Cantor and Desmond Child. Now "LIPSTICK" has also been produced by Desmond Child but even thought the album is good, doesn't reach the success or performance of "SOY". "LIPSTICK" has more rock influence but personally I think that the best songs from Alejandra are not the roughest ones. The proof of that are her biggest hits "HACER EL AMOR CON OTRO", "CUIDADO CON EL CORAZON", "ANGELES CAIDOS" and her smash "DE VERDAD". On the other hand I know that Alejandra's skills for rock are very good but there has to be a limit like her songs "MALA HIERBA" or "MIRALO, MIRALA" that aren't very hard. What I mean with this is that this album is great but songs like "HOY ME VOY A QUERER" and "SUPEREXITADA" are too valiant ("DIABLO" and "REINA DE CORAZONES" are hard but have a special touch). My personal opinion is that the best songs are "TU CORAZON", "TU ERES MI LUZ", "CREO EN MI", "TENGO DERECHO A ESTAR MAL" and her new smash "LIPSTICK" that can be also found here in English which I think is great. Alejandra's English is very, very good..
You won't be sorry with this album but if you're looking for your first Alejandra Guzman album, buy "SOY" or "LAGUZMAN".
Other highlights of this album are its three Latin Grammy nominations and that It sold 100,000 copies on its release week.

This Cd, is very good! I have seen her live, and know that she as worked very hard to but out this new CD..... I recomend that anyone that loves latin rock, buy this!!!

I would have wished to actually focus on the content of this album rather than on the media on which BMG Music has decided to distributed it on. The corrupt CD's simply won't play on your computer. The supposedly no-brainer way to play the CD on your computer as described from SunnComm seems impossible even with a Windows XP computer with the newest version of Windows Media Player installed. I then tried playing the CD with Windows Media Player (without the program that comes on it) and I thought I had finally found a way around it, but the music skips a beat every third second. Why? Because BMG distributes this album on corrupt Compact Discs. Boycott BMG for violating our consumer rights!

This album is absolutely the best in her career. The title track doesn't speak very well about the album in general, but all the songs are excellent. The best tracks: "Tengo Derecho a Estar Mal", "Hoy Me Voy a Querer", "Mi Luz" and "Lipstick (English Version)" are pure energy. If you like good rock this album is for you. Plus: it contains the "Lipstick" video.

I love this album. Alejandra is the Mexican Madonna, always reinventing herself. She is sexier than ever in this album. I love lipstik! It's raw and provocative. I think I'll use those lines next time I'm with my husband! lol Yeah! I'm so happy to see Alejandra still rocking! She's rock royalty! She proved it with this album!

This has to be the best album in her career.WOW!! no, accent on her english track. Great job alejandra guzman. Here is one mexican artist that can represent.This is not a border girl album . wether its live or studio alejandra guzman delivers. desmond child and alejandra guzman, great combo.***** all the way.

Now I have to admit it: I WAS on of those people who bought "Lipstick" then worked backwards. But it turned out that I really fell in love with "Libre" and "Soy". So my opinion of "Lipstick" is really coming from the background of those two previous albums

Alejandrá Guzman esta de regreso con un nuevo disco que saldrá a la venta el 23 de marzo. Lipstick es el nombre del primer sencillo el cual también será el titulo del álbum.

Después de haber ganado un Grammy Latino por su disco Soy, Alejandra volvió a hacer mancuerna con el productor Desmond Child. El producto ha sido álbum en donde destaca la esencia de Alejandra: voz, alma y energía.

El primer sencillo grabado en ingles y en español, nos trae un sonido completamente nuevo para Alejandra Guzman. Contiene ritmos más electrónicos, coros imponentes y el sonido predominante de la guitarra.
