Lynne's "Lipstick" Dressed to Kill,
By
This review is from: Lipstick (Audio CD)
Lynne does not just have a pretty voice, but vocally he has an engaging presence that makes you one to listen. With a throw back beat back to school of Roy Orbison-ish 60s rock, "Lipstick" tells about a night out of town with Lynne's lady dressed to kill. Though "Lipstick" will certainly work wonders for country radio, it's the CD singles second full cut that's more arresting. As a former G.I., "Red, White and Blue," a thoughtful ballad about our servicemen is heartfelt. With plenty of fiddles and steel this inspirational paean ought to steal hearts and shed tears.
