4.0 out of 5 stars Energy after a Year of Fatigue
I've been fighting fatigue for approx. a year because of my health condition. I had tried everything (including medications), and without any positive results. I found this tea in the store one day and decided to give it a try. To my shock, it actually, gave me the energy I had been longing for. I don't necessarily like the flavor, but I can surely endure it for the...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not too bad, but could be better
Of the four different flavors of the Lipton beverage mixes that I've tried this one had the best flavor. It sounds weird to mix these 2 flavors but since neither one is actually what they tried for it didn't come out too bad. But, it still has the same problem that the other Lipton mixes have. It doesn't dissolve very well and no matter how much you shake it there's still...

Of the four different flavors of the Lipton beverage mixes that I've tried this one had the best flavor. It sounds weird to mix these 2 flavors but since neither one is actually what they tried for it didn't come out too bad. But, it still has the same problem that the other Lipton mixes have. It doesn't dissolve very well and no matter how much you shake it there's still some chunks in the bottom of the bottle.
On the plus side, since I started trying the various powder single beverage mixes a couple of months ago, I've dropped a little over 25 pounds. Even though I did like the flavor of this one, for the price of it compared to the other brands available, I doubt that I will ever buy it again.

I found this tea in the store one day and decided to give it a try. To my shock, it actually, gave me the energy I had been longing for. I don't necessarily like the flavor, but I can surely endure it for the boost I so desperately needed . It's been my lifesaver drink!

2.0 out of 5 stars Why Switch Flavor and not advise the customer?, August 12, 2011

I loved the Blueberry Pomegranate flavor enough to be getting regular deliveries. But this month Blackberry Pomegranate shows up without any notice to me. I do not care for this flavor as much as the Blueberry combination and am most annoyed that no one gave me any advance notice that my regular order was being changed. Amazon, this is a glitch you need to fix!! The seller should advise the buyer that they are no longer getting the product they wanted!
As for the merits of the drink: it is okay but too strong on the Blackberry side. Unless you really like the taste of blackberry that much you probably won't love this one. I've cancelled this subscription!

5.0 out of 5 stars Lipton Blackberry Energize Tea To Go ..., December 30, 2011

In an attempt to steer completely away from carbonated drinks, I started drinking the powder sticks added to water in all different brands and flavors. I am not a lover of sweetner aftertaste so I went through alot of flavors before finding one I really loved. Lipton Green Tea Blackberry Pomegranate is by far my favorite. I drink one at work in the mornings and another around 3 in the afternoon with lots of water in between. It has a light refreshing flavor. This is actually the first product on Amazon.com that I subscribe to. Love, Love, Love it!

3.0 out of 5 stars Description is wrong - has Aspartame instead of Splenda, October 17, 2011

I dunno how Amazon gets this wrong - this cruddy tea comes with brain-drilling aspartame instead of Splenda. I am almost tempted to apply for a refund here. "Tea" mix is tasty enough I suppose but the cruddy bait-and-switch ruined the experience.

3.0 out of 5 stars Could be better, August 30, 2011

First thing I notice is that it doesn't dissolve very well in cold water. Definitely use a little warm water first, shake it up, and then add the cold.

The flavor is ok, but pretty tame. Not a lot of tea or fruit flavor, pretty bland overall.

The caffeine does provide a nice kick in the morning. Add a little more flavor and I could give this a better review.

3.0 out of 5 stars Wrong description - pls fix so I know what I'm getting next time, August 3, 2011

The description in the products listing says "Blueberry Pomegranite", but when you actually go into the item, it says "Blackberry Pomegranite". I was not happy to get the Blackberry when I ordered the Blueberry, but the flavor was almost as good, so I kept it. Will have to see what happens when my next Subscribe & Save order comes up.

This is currently sweetened with Aspartame, not sucralose as listed here (and still has red 40). It does not have Acelfame-K like the mandarin mango flavor. It tastes good but not as good to me as the (generally higher priced) Nestea equivalent (which is sweetened with Sucralose alone and has no artificial colors) and does not dissolve as well either (though neither dissolve well in cold water), both are a little strong at 16 OZ. Made in ?; not marked with country of origin.

4.0 out of 5 stars enjoyable low cost drink with possible health benefits, July 23, 2011

Lipton Green Tea To Go, Energize Blueberry Pomegranate

It comes in little packets that you mix in a bottle of water (1 packet per 16.9 oz. bottle is considered 2 servings).
It dissolves easily in room temp water, but requires more vigorous shaking if water is really cold.
The taste is not bad and it helps you feel energized... well, each serving does contain 50mg of caffeine.
The cost per mixed bottle comes to less than 20 cents (if you do the subscribe and save).
You can add to that the cost of the water, but I just use the water cooler at work and re-use my bottle.
Even if you mix it with bottled water, the cost is still much less than a can of soda.

Touted as a source of B vitamins, Ginseng, Guarana and Flavonoids.
Flavonoids are found naturally in plants and are generally thought to be healthy.

This product does use aspartame as a sweetener. aspartame breaks down to Phenylalanine (an amino acid),
so those with an interlerance should avoid this. Look it up on wiki if you're unsure.
Pregnant woman should probably seek advice from physician prior to consumption.

I'd give it 5 stars if it didn't use aspartame.
