This tea has a smooth and flavorful taste. No bitterness. Cheaper buying it this way,than at store. 40 bags $3.50 great way to save. and always have them on hand

This is a great value if you drink green tea daily and want convenience. We order it this way to save gas, time, money and still drink the tea we like without the hassle of loose. Finally, we have enough tea to last a month with less packaging to store. Price it out! Good value.

In 1865, Thomas Johnstone Lipton went to the United States and held various jobs. After five years, he returned to Britain, and opened grocery store that soon blossomed into a whole chain. Among the many unique products that Lipton carried were teas that he has specially acquired, and which soon became famous in their own rights. In 1954, Lipton introduced the world's first tea bag, which is still associated with Lipton after all these years.

Overall, I found this to be a very nice green tea, which is good hot, and good cold. If you are looking to add good, healthy green tea to your diet, then get Lipton's green tea. (Even better, get Lipton green tea that is flavored with honey or lemon or mint, it adds a real zing to it!)

As a Green Tea Lover... I do not want to recommend this tea bags.
The taste of this tea bag is NOT closed to green tea at all... It is more like lightened black tea...
Also, this open style paper package is not good for Green Tea. The taste of Green Tea is getting worse if contacted by direct sunlight, heat or humidity. It should be kept hermetically sealed.
If you want to enjoy real green tea with moderate price, I'd like recommend Kirkland Signature Green Tea Matcha Blend 100% Japanese Tea - 100 Tea Bags. It is made by Itoen as well-known Japanese tea company. Taste and clear green color is excellent with well sealed package.

I prefer iced tea and I picked this tea up the last time I was in the US and liked it a lot. I've switched from black to green tea because of the health benefits I've read about with green tea.

I can also find this particular tea in Mexico, which rocks because good non-herbal teas are hard to find.

The directions state that for iced tea, you should brew 4 bags per quart, which is probably accurate, but I just use it with cold water the way you would for sun tea and it takes a few hours, but it works just fine with a lot less hassle. Try it that way, I've had excellent luck with it. Anything that will cut yet another step out of my day is great. :D

Do I think that this is the best green tea ever? I'm sure it's not. I don't find it at all bitter the way some green teas can be and it is definitely priced right. Please refer to other reviewers for how it tastes hot, because I honestly can't speak to that.

Very good tea but I prefer the tea without bags. I'm kind of spoiled by fresh tea and Asian tea so I'm a bit picky. These are very convenient though which is why it deserves the high rating. Lipton has done a wonderful job selecting and packaging the tea. This is a great alternative to coffee during deployment.

If you're a fan of the green tea that is served in better Japanese restaurants, then forget about Lipton. This is extremely bland in comparison. If you try to let it steep longer, it just gets bitter instead of richer. And the price is expensive for what you get. Grocery stores like Trader Joes sell similar quality green tea for much less money.

It's not bad. I'm a big fan of green tea and Lipton's brand does a good job at matching the quality of Japanese brands. The leaves inside the bad are cut into smaller and finer pieces than Japanese ones but that doesn't seem to affect the taste that much. If you like green tea, you should definitely give this a try. It is a lot cheaper than anything else out there at this level of quality.

I've been an everyday green tea drinker for a couple of years now. Lipton Green Tea is definitely my go-to brand. I love that Amazon now offers this tea in the Subscribe and Save program. The 100-count pack is wonderful, since just buying it once means I don't have to worry about getting more in the following months. Amazon always has a very competitive price on it as well. The tea brews great in hot water, and produces great flavor. I do have to admit I add a bit of honey to my tea for sweetness - but I have a sweet tooth :)

I've been drinking Lipton for about a year now. Their green tea is great I just microwave water for 2 minutes and steep for another 2 minutes. Lipton also offers ORGANIC Green Tea Bags and they taste great! I suggest you get both and see which you prefer because they DO taste different. Overall I suggest this for anyone who loves tea and wants the added benefits of Green Tea! It takes a few weeks to get adapted to the green tea taste but I love it now and its healthy!
