I've been having trouble finding this in my local grocery stores, so I ordered a case. This stuff is great - toss with veggies or potatoes and a little olive oil and roast. Delicious! Sprinkle over fish with some breadcrumbs and dot with butter or olive oil and bake. I have no idea if you can actually make soup with it, and don't care. I use it just to season foods and it's excellent.

I LOVE this soup mix and use it often as a marinade for chicken. Easiest recipe: Spray a 13x9 inch pan with Pam. Slice peeled potatoes paper thin and line the bottom of your pan with two layers of your potatoes. Put boneless, skinless chicken over the potatoes. Take two soup packets and combine them in a bowl with 1/3 c. olive or vegetable oil and about 1/3 c. water; mix. Pour marinade over chicken and then bake entire thing for an hour. SO EASY AND SO DELICIOUS! Every time I make this, I get nothing but compliments; it's even my husband's favorite. Lipton nailed it with this one and I'd recommend it to anyone who loves garlic and zesty spices.
This was also a pretty good deal since the packets can sometimes be difficult to find at the store and usually aren't on sale for less than $1.50. I'm very happy with my purchase!

I've used this on many things. What a great flavor. It's best on Carne Asada. Get some thin skirt steaks and powder both sides with this. BBQ. Then get ready for a treat!! Jim

Roasted red potatoes has become a staple of our Sunday Brunch. The Lipton Savory Herb with Garlic Recipe Mix is an essential ingredient. Not only does it save time but the quality and consistency of flavor is actually better than creating the same result from scratch.

Though I've never actually made this as a soup, this product makes THE BEST oven roasted potatoes (originally found recipe on package). It was well worth buying 12 boxes just to know I'd always have it! Just combine one package of this soup, 4 medium potatoes (about 2 lbs) cut into chunks, and 1/3 cup olive or vegetable oil (I use olive oil). Put in a 13x9 baking dish in a pre-heated 450 oven uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 40 minutes or until potatoes are tender and golden brown. AWESOME!

WOW, this is the best boxed soup ever!
There is a phenomenal recipe for a baked vegetable dish on the back, and it's just great. I have searched high & low for this at my local grocery stores and cannot ever find it, so I will have to resort to using the Internet. Veggies + this soup mix = Yummmy!

This makes the most awesome chicken. Cut of the chicken into bite sizes and cook in the soup mix with a small amount of water and oil (recipe is on the box). YUM!

Last week I rubbed the Savory Herb and Garlic Soup Mix on the whole chicken I was about to roast, popped it into an oven bag and followed the roasting directions. It was out of this world good. My family isn't terrible fond of potatoes, but mixing the soup mix, 1/3 cup of oil and the potatoes cut in about 1" pieces, they couldn't get enough of them this evening. DS likes the ones that get really brown, so everyone's happy.Except for the Onion Soup Recipe, we can't find any of the other flavors in our stores. But since I can get what I want from Amazon, I'm content.

I think this soup mix is awesome! I have a Lipton Recipe Secrets cookbook and a lot of the recipes call for Savory Herb and Garlic soup mix. I can't find it anywhere in our city so I order it on-line. I'm already on my second case and plan to buy more when this runs out. I make chicken and pork chops using this mix. My family loves them.
