Liquid Groove is an independant label that "Twisted America" brings to us in this compilation. The label features house groups such as H2O, Dangerous Minds, and Lovebeads. The deep house cuts these groups produce is what this mixed set is made of. Another words, the good stuff. Deep thumpin' house music with funky basslines, hype garage keyboards, and plenty of electro to keep the sound full. Mixed by Oliver Stumm (a total unknown) this is definately a sleeper cd that is likely to go unnoticed by the average person. Unless of course you're down with the HousERaT and you recognize my desire to get you into the deepest house out there.

I've got quite a few of the "Twisted America" works and this without question is the best I've heard thus far. Over 72 minutes long, you get lots of "Liquid Groove" for you hard earned dollars. This mixing and music selection is excellent and as mentioned before, you get over an hour and ten minutes of some of the best house I've heard. Cuts of choice are "You Can Run...But You Can't Hide", "The Future", "Nobody's Business", and just about every other cut in this set. There's a spot reserved for this excellent cd on my top 25 list. Thank you Twisted for bringing such a wonderful mix to us.

One of my favorite mix CD's, this one flows from beginning to end with tracks that are already classics. Anthems like Live in Unity and Take Me Higher really build the energy, but the last track, Aquarius, is really the kicker - an high energy house mix with a trancey finale!

This CD came as a pleasant surprise to me. I had never heard of Oliver Stumm as a DJ, but sometimes a shopper has to take a chance; I took this chance based on the record label, and I got lucky. The mix is very fluid and deep. Favorite tracks are "Live In Unity", "Nobody's Business", and "This Is The Only Way", simply because I heard those very often during my stint in the UK. Although not an absolute favorite, it is still a good CD to have in the collection.

Oli's wonderful housegrooves. You gave us so many good dancing hours in the past. Thank you. We miss you in zurich. Give us some more of your lovely music.

I just wanted to say that this is a great cd for either hanging out with your friends or just driving in your car!! Holy Cow!! Great CD!!!

If the first track doesn't psych you up, I don't know what will. From start to finish, it's great! I really like both mixes of "Live in Unity" and "This is the Only Way." "Aquarius" is a great finale. I sure hope there is a Volume 2 in the future.

I've had this CD since I was a kid, and what an amazing piece of electronic music! You won't be disappointed, this is quality stuff.

The first time I heard this CD I was just amazed with each track, and the mixing was just awesome, of course by the ending of track three into track four you could hear a slight early start to the next track, faded out but faded back in. I liked that only because you could hear that little mishap of a DJ as to say: "Hey we make mistakes to, it's human nature". After all, coming from a practicing DJ in myself, I know i made my share of mishaps. This CD does start of slow, but it picks up as it goes along, and blends back into a slow techno trip track called: "Aquarius". This is one of those CD to keep the after hours party going until the sun is bright.It would be kind of hard to pick a favorite track, because each track gives it the style and groove that you want. Great job to both Twisted Records and Liquid Groove Records.
