This review is from: Liquid Leather And Vinyl Repair Kit W/Fabric
Well you'd better be really, really, really good at mixing colors in order to match fabrics or otherwise this product is fairly useless. Essentially its a type of Elmer's glue (I suspect it is Elmer's) and some small containers of pigmant (which the box implies has some fabric particles in it). You have to mix the primary colors together until you get a reasonably close match to your fabric. You fill the fabric with the glue and allow it to dry for 24 hours, then you fill it again and top it with the mix of the color. You will end up undoubtedly with what looks like a spot or stain on your sofa instead of the hole. The other unfortunate part of this is that the repair does not appear to be water safe. If you wipe the repair with a wet/damp cloth, it disolves the repair even after its dried for 24 hours. I think this may be better than leaving a burn hole in your sofa -- but not much.
The vinyl/leater repair works much the same way.
