I agree with some that it's not easy to apply. It's quite thick. I ended
up using very wide putty knife and small roller. But it's very forgiving
of areas that I didn't get smoothed down. It fills rough areas and self levels.
You won't see any stroke marks. I did an area about 10 by 10. I'm not sure
I would use THIS method for much bigger areas as my wrist was getting a workout.
But it really looks good..nice smooth finish. Unfortunately here in Florida the live
oak seems to drop leaves for 3 months and I am getting some leaves stuck in it.
I used the same stuff a year ago in an area with some leaks (using this on my camper by the way) and it has held up well. Granted a year isn't long. Bottom line it's kinda pricey but I feel like it's 10 times better than the white silicon roofing product I've tried before. That was thin.

I had been told this was the only stuff to buy if you are trying to keep a camper roof from leaking. Its not too bad to work with, but dry time is lengthy. I actually rigged up a huge tarp and drove my Toyota camper under it so the rubber could cure for a few days with no chance of rain hitting it. 1 gallon took care of the roof of my camper. I bought 2 because other Toyota camper owners had mentioned using 2, but they must have been double coating it or pouring it on extra thick, but with dry times of 7 days, thats a long period between coats. Anyway, the stuff is on and it looks great and I have seen NO water come in despite 3 very heavy rains. I hope it lasts a long time, but I have a spare gallon...just in case ;-) Great stuff! Make sure you can use the entire gallon, because I dont think it will last long once the hardener is mixed in ;-)

Applied half roof at a time. last just hrs before the rain and it is amazing....still a hint of tacky and waterproof....live in WA state and lots of tests of rain. ha ha ha............amazing and already recommending it as a alternative to pricy full rubber roof replacement depending on situation. 25 ft trlr is what we used 1 1/2 gals or more on...then froze the rest for later use or touch-ups if we missed anything. amazing product!

This product went on very nicely and especially after the temperature got up around 100 the rubber smoothed out very good. It was easier to put on than some of the videos showed.

I closed in the two car garage in order to have a study and a game room for the kids. When there was a very heavy rain the water would pool and where the osb overlapped the slab water was coming in. I had some left over rubber roofing I tried to seal the joint with, but I could not get the seal water tight. I stripped for the rubber roofing and painted the liquid rubber, Problem solved. I have had water pooled for hours with not leaks.

Bought Liquid Rubber to coat the top of our fifth wheel trailer. Product very thick as expected. Glad I bought in 1 gal containers as mixing was easy and hauling on to trailer roof was no problem. Others said that a squeegee was the best tool to spread the product on the roof - I was dubious but they were right. It is too thick to move around easily with a roller. Used an 18" squeegee - made the job easier. Very happy with finished product.

I used this on my motorhome and was pleased with the results. I wasn't sure whether I had an EDPM membrane or TPO. That is important to know because the TPO roof needs a pre-treatment with another product. I learned that the EDPM rubber chalks and leaves the white streaks that you see on older RVs. TPO does not chalk. I did not have any problem with spreading it, but I was using it at about 80 degrees. I think it could be too thick in cooler weather. The instructions stated that leftovers could be kept in a refrigerator for later use. I tried that. It made the refrigerator stink and I think I left it too long because it was too thick to use later. So, I would recommend using it all up if you can. I sold the motorhome but I do plan to use it again on our current 5th wheel. Be sure to clean the area well before applying it. Do not use petroleum based solvents on EDPM roofs to clean. I used Dawn dishwashing liquid. I don't know if that was good or not. But, as far as I know it is not petroleum based, and it doesn't stink. It took off ALL of the old white coat and I had a completely black motorhome roof to apply the liquid rubber to. I had read that if that black stuff dripped down the sides of the fiberglass (while cleaning) that it would stain permanently, so I tried as hard as possible to keep it from running down. But, I still had some runs. I tried Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and was able to remove the runs. But, I would recommend trying to get your roof done before it gets to the point of being all black. It would be much easier and less likely to get a permanent stain. My only complaint is that it does have a strong odor. I thought about ordering a gas mask for next time.
