I recently purchased the Liquid Silk CD by Marina Raye and would highly recommend it for anyone who is seeking a quick and sure means of relieving stress. The soothing sounds of falling water and nature sounds, coupled with the haunting melodies of Marina's flute, is truly a gift for the soul. Her Native American influence is evident in her music, and is so stirring that you can almost imagine the sun shining thourgh the trees of an ancient forest, as you lounge in its shady nooks. In addition to Liquid Silk, I would also recommend another CD from Marina, titled Snow Falling On Silence. This collection offers peacefull harp sounds that fluidly compliment Marina's flute. If you are seeking to create a tranquil environment to ease you through a hectic day, or looking for music to enrich your sense of well being, then I most readily recommned Marina Raye's compositions.

Marina Raye's music is almost, or perhaps is, a religious experience. Her music can speak to the empty spaces within, filling them up with energy and peace. While Snow Falling On Silence is my favorite Marina Raye CD, Liquid Silk is the CD that first introduced me to Marina Raye and encouraged me to purchase more or her work. Definitely a worthwhile CD.

This should be called Liquid Gold!

I got this as a review copy when it came out nine years ago, and I've loved it ever since. Of the 300 or so New Agey cds I heard that year, this was the ONLY ONE that wasn't cheesy in some way. Where most of that genre uses nature sounds to laughable effect, here the birds and running water are so warmly recorded and so in tune with Raye's excellent flute playing that it all comes together to be exactly what all the others are going for but rarely get.

I've sold many copies of this cd, as I used to take it to massage therapists and they all to a one fell in love with it and got their own copy.

There is a level of deep understanding for and love of nature here that is truly transcendent. I doubt I'll ever find a cd that makes me feel like I do when I'm sitting alone playing my guitar beside a stream in the mountains at sunset, but this almost does just that.

Highly recommended if you like feeling deep peace.
Also great for leaving on repeat at low volume while you sleep, leaving gentle imprints of peace on your snoozing psyche.

I heard this when I was getting a massage and it was the most relaxing music I had heard. The tranquil flute music with the various birds, water ,etc in the background blend to make a wonderful peaceful sound. I just received it and I listen to it every night before going to sleep. It is very peaceful and relaxing. I would recomend this to anyone.

This CD was my first encounter with Marina Raye, along with Blissful Journey, and I am hooked. This is pure music, with no hidden agendas, that simply quiets the spirit and touches the peace that exists in each of us. Marina's flute playing is exquisite and the sounds of nature she has added are so natural, I am transported to a quiet lakeside whenever I listen to this CD. I have just purchased six more of Marina's CDs and will happily recommend her music to anyone seeking a truly honest experience of peace and serenity.

As a certified massage therapist, I look for soothing music to help set the mood in my studio. I was drawn to the ads for Marina Raye's music and went on line to hear some of them. I was immediately taken to that very special peaceful place inside my self and continue to be taken there each time I play any of her music.

About 10 years ago, while getting a massage, I heard the most beautiful music. I asked the therapist what it was and she told me it was Liquid Silk by Marina Ray. I immediately looked Marina up on the web and purchased Liquid Silk. Although I own many of her CDs, Liquid Silk is, by far, my favorite. It has the power to give peace to my heart and flight to my soul. This year I have purchased 2 more copies to give as gifts to my two new therapists. I also purchased a copy last year to give to the directors of the funeral home where my brother-in-law was laid out. It gave great comfort to all who listened to it. Marina has become a sister of my heart, and I am greatful.

The most relaxing music I've ever heard.

I came to know Marina's music through my massage therapist..I just got her the newest CD! This music has brought me through many time of stress and anxiety. I have cd's by other such artists but these are the most soothing and healing that I have found. I also recommend them to all my (menopausal) friends needing to relax and let go and also to some of my patients. Thanks Marina for your incredible talent for providing peace and calm to those of us who need it!

Liquid Silk is one of my all time favorite CDs. I never tire of Marina's wonderful magic with her flute. She weaves tales of peace and tranquility. It is the only title I use during massage and it is a wonderful 'cure' for rush hour traffic.
