Product Description

Vitamin D is essential for the functioning of many important systems in the body, and recent research has suggested that we may need much more vitamin D than previously thought for optimum immune function and long-term health. Adequate vitamin D levels may reduce the risk of many chronic diseases in the long term, including: Autoimmune Disorders1 Diabetes4 Cancer2,3,4 Osteoporosis4 Rheumathoid Arthritis4 High Blood Pressure4 Vitamin D360 is pure and potent Vitamin D3 supplement in an olive oil base, providing 2000 IU of cholecalciferol per drop. Most people do not get sufficient vitamin D3 in their diet, and the synthetic vitamin D2 that is added to dairy products is an inferior form of this vital nutrient, and is added in too small of an amount. Vitamin D3 occurs naturally in fatty fish, cod liver oil, egg yolks, and beef liver. Vitamin D360 contains only cholecalciferol derived from cholesterol in sheep's wool, making it suitable for vegetarians. Some factors that contribute to vitamin D deficiency include: Spending most of the day indoors Using sunscreen Wintertime & less sunny climates Darker skin tone (melanin blocks UVB rays, which produce vitamin D in the skin) Vitamin D deficiency symptoms vary depending on the individual, so consulting with a physician and testing vitamin D levels, as supplementing with too much vitamin D can cause elevated blood calcium levels which can have serious health effects. Measuring 25 hydroxy vitamin D levels is the preferred test for determining vitamin D deficiency; if the level is less than 80, taking a vitamin D3 supplement may be one of the most valuable steps you could take for long-term health. The liquid format of Vitamin D360 makes it simple to tailor the dose to fit your specific needs, and is easier to take than capsules, especially for small children. Vitamin D360 is free from fillers, flow agents, preservatives, or flavors. It contains no wheat, gluten, dairy, corn, soy, fish, shellfish, or nuts.

I've been taking the Vitamin D3 drops since January this year. I live in a very northern climate so don't get much if any sunshine during the winter months. No bad taste with the product, just tastes like olive oil. I put 1-2 drops on my tongue every morning.
I've had asthma for years and used an Albuteral inhaler as needed. Depending on the season, I usually used it 1 time daily and once in a while more than that. I always refused to inhale anything with steroids, my doctor was not always happy about this, but I know what steroids do to the body. Over the past few years I've tried many different herbs, supplements, anything to try to help my lungs and get rid of asthma. Nothing really worked. About three weeks ago, I noticed that my lung function was greatly improved. I haven't used my inhaler for 3 weeks, this has not happened in at least 12 years. I've exercised and haven't had any wheezing or asthma symptoms (I used to ALWAYS carry my inhaler when I exercised and usaully had to use it). It's amazing! The only thing that I've changed in my supplements is taking the Vitamin D3 drops. They work and I'm thinking the Asthma was related to a Vitamin D deficiency in my body!

First, I'll try to limit the hyperbole here. I like this stuff a lot, enough said. Read on for why.

I'm not a supplement-type. I go to the gym and, as much as I still don't like the taste of it -- I eat my broccoli. I've always believed that exercise and a good diet were all that I needed. I decided to give this stuff a try for 3 main reasons:

1) The other positive reviews. Amazon customers have rarely let me down -- from my rice cooker, to my books, to this stuff -- I've come to trust what people write on here as long as it doesn't sound like an obvious shill.

2) Over the last couple of years I've stumbled on study after study saying how important D3 is for health, and what a large percentage of the population is D3 deficient. I'm a pasty ginger, and I avoid the sun. I figured, why not give it a try.

3) It's not fish oil. Need I say more? Several years back I tried cod liver oil capsules that gave me the most rotten-fishy burps one can imagine. I'll never forget that day at work -- I had to run out of a meeting because of it. This stuff tastes like a drop of olive oil, and nothing else. I can put it on anything.

The results? Hard to quantify without a blood test, but suffice to say I feel 20 years younger and have noticably more energy, everyday, and especially at the gym. I've recommended this supplement to everyone in my family and I'm recommending it to you.

For the past 2 years or so I have been experiencing consistent tingling/mild burning sensations in my feet/hands, extreme fatigue, some menstrual pain/irregularity and consistent sullenness. I attributed many of these symptoms to a severely stressful time in my life (job loss, unexpected changes, trauma). However, it worried me enough to propel me to find some answers. As I started to research my symptoms, Vitamin D deficiency seemed to come up consistently. I visited my internist in April 2013 and requested that my Vitamin D.25 Hydroxy levels be tested. Low and behold the results returned a Vitamin D level of 6! S-I-X!!! I was astounded that I had been walking around so incredibly deficient for god knows how long. I am young 33 year old with no other health concerns to speak of and was shocked this was my affecting me so tremendously.

I am so grateful that I listened to my body, trusted my instincts, and pushed my physician to test my levels despite his nonchalance about the matter. I knew I had to attack the issue head on. I decided early on not to take Vitamin D in pill form as I have heard so much problematic information about pills, how they dissolve, toxins contained in the coatings etc... So I went on the prowl for a great liquid option. I decided to give Seeking Health a try. My physician prescribed a 50,000, once per week, dose in pill form. I took the prescribed pills for the first two weeks. After that I replicated the pill dose by taking 4-5 drops of Seeking Health Liquid D3 daily beginning in early May 2013.

I returned to the physician for a follow up blood test to monitor my levels on 7/11/2013. I received my results on 7/13. My vitamin D.25 level is now 48.8! W-O-W!!!. I was speechless.

I got this liquid vitamin D for my mother who suffers from Alzheimer's type dementia after she tested very low (14) for vitamin D. After giving this to her with her other meds mixed into apple sauce along with some good old fashion sunshine she tested three months later at (58), the nurse calling her little Miss Sunshine. Using this also improved her mood noticeably.

Before I take this product. My 25OH (Vitamin D ) checking result is 19.8 ng/ml, far low than standard 32-100 ng/ml. I only take one drop per day. After 4 months, I check the blood again, far more than my expectation, the 25OH becomes 40 ng/ml. I have recommanded this product to my relatives.

2,000 IUs in one drop make's it SOOO much easier to administer than 100 IUs per drop. The Dropper is not the best - if it is full of liquid it tends to just drop out of the dropper without having squeezed the bulb. Now I make sure that there is next to nothing in the dropper before I take it out of the bottle.

I'll definitely purchase this again.
