I use a lot of GW paints they have a good product but is really too prone to dry, with the mate medium I can safely dilute my paints and get a longer life of my already expensive paints. depending on what you want to achieve it works best if you get the retarder and the fluid enhancer.

If you paint with acrylic paints, then you really ought to pick some of this stuff up. It'll thin your paints without reducing them to the consistency of water, which is very helpful for more advanced painting techniques like layering. Despite the fact that it looks white when you pour it out of the bottle, I haven't noticed any change in the colors of my paint once it's mixed with the paint of my choice. And more than that, I believe that this stuff even improves the characteristics of your paint, improving the adhesion of the paint and maybe even making it more durable.
