Miss Popeil has obviously spent a great amount of time and effort in assimilating and putting together vocal concepts, that are so elusive when put in the hands of other misinformed teachers. She explains things very clearly and simply so that the layperson is able to understand. One can see that she has great passion in her singing and teaching! Her video is just the thing for those who have been frustrated in being typecast as a singer of a particular genre of music. This video is the tool to help one to be a balanced and versatile singer!

Very good video, I feel she really knows her stuff. She appears warm and patient in her approach. Lots of information and exercises to absorb.

I bought The Total Singer thru a TV promotion, where I was impressed by her techniques and simplicity, not expecting much, to be sure, but hopeful. My goodness, was I astounded! There's no telling how much money a person would have to pay (and as I'm in a rural area..travel to get) to achieve the progress I made in just watching her video the very lst time! She gives exercises, which are simple and effective and the results are nearly immediate. This is an exceptional opportunity to receive a really great start in a career or just singing for your own enjoyment (and amazement!;) She anticipates any questions and leaves nothing for a person to wonder about; gives pointers on how to progress to different levels, safely and how to guage when you're able to do so, etc. Breathing importance also. It's a very relaxing education to be sure and it works!
