partner Louis Van Amstel, Rinna has come up with a relatively slick-looking workout video that attempts to teach viewers how to ballroom dance (hustle, rumba, paso doble, quick step) and firm up, too. Based on the conceit that the majority of DWTS
contestants lose weight and get into tip-top shape during their weeks of competition, Ballroom Learn & Burn
tries to get viewers motivated to rumba and hustle in their living rooms. If you have some experience with ballroom dancing, it won't be difficult to keep up with Rinna. But unless you've had a few lessons at Arthur Murray, the pace may be too fast for novices. The direction could be more user-friendly, too; for instance, Rinna gives direction from her point of view, but that encourages the viewer to go in the opposite direction as her. Clearly, Rinna is a talented hoofer. But whether those of us following the instructions here can become good dancers, too, is debatable. --Jae-Ha Kim
