Nice tool, works well
I used this to help diagnose a possible ignition problem on a friends car. It's connections are easy to use in a variety of circumstances. Only complaint is that it's hard to see if it's in direct sunlight, but I can't think of any way around that issue. Would recommend this product to everyone.

Seems well built. I couldn't get it to work with a coil over plug setup. I had to hold it into the coil because it had a spring loaded connection instead of snap onto the plug. Then the wire wouldn't reach the plug. Then tried to use a cheaper clamp on spark tester pushed into the tester boot, then hold the tester into the coil with one hand, and reach over to turn...

well made and the straight/angled boots worked great. If it only had a way to self test that the light is working it would rate a perfect 5 stars. If you have no spark you wonder if the device is working or not. Minor issue....buy it anyway, its simplicity is its strength.

I didn't believe it at first when three of my four cylinders showed no spark. However, became a believer when it proved true (rats had chewed thru the harness in which the wires to the coils were located). Much easier than pulling the plugs and testing directly; keeps the plug firing rather than building up unburned fuel in the cylinder. Great product

Easy to use and works as promised. Just plug each end in, start the engine and then watch the bulb as it flashes at the same time the spark plug is firing.

Featured in Cycleworld. This unit replaces the 18yr old Lisle spark tester in my tool box. The old unit only failed after repeated abuse. Use it for safety as well as protecting 6v ignition/mag on your old iron.
