I was skeptical about this one in that I have hand packed for years. I had to do 18 bearing in one day. Maintenance on 3 trailers and figured give it a try. It works great and saved a lot of time. Clean off the excess old grease and then pump in the new. The grease fitting to fill it up is cute but to I just used a putty knife and loaded it up. It was quicker and a lot less pumping of a grease gun. This one had thick plastic parts and the directions are very good. The directions say you can put it in a vice and squeeze if for the stubborn old grease and there is no drought this unit will stand up to that. Fortunately I did not need to do that. The cover is nice to keep the unit clean ready for the next use. . Thanks John M.

I was thrilled to get one again they work GREAT!!!

This is a simple, but functional unit. Heavy-duty plastic components fit together well. I checked out a bunch of different bearing packers before deciding on this one. BTW, the Amazon price is much cheaper than what Sears sells it for.

This thing works great. Fully packs a bearing in about 5 seconds. No more trying to get grease into a bearing by hand.

I used to use a similar packer when I worked as a mechanic for an airline. This one works just as well but will do larger sized bearings. I was able to use it on the big inner bearing on my Ford F350 4WD and it worked flawlessly. The product itself seems well made and even has beefed up bosses to make it usable in a vise. The weight of my upper body was more than sufficient though and I cant imagine needing a vise. I expect that this unit will last me decades. Great price at under 20 bucks too.

I was very pleased with the Handy Packer. It does a much better job of getting grease into the tiny places in the bearing than I could do by hand.

Lisle makes quality stuff, and this is no exception! Works great, minimal mess, and really packs the bearings.

The title says it all, "HANDY PACKER BEARING PACKER". This works great. It puts the grease into all the spaces in the bearing and saves you having to put it by rubbing it across the hand several times and wondering if all the spaces are filled. Highly recommended.

Having managed a construction company repair shop for years I have seen these packers used day in, day out, for years without problems or breakage. The important thing in packing bearings is not contaminating the grease with foreign debris. This packer is easy to keep clean and solvent resistant. For use on small bearings there is nothing better, faster, or more durable.

The Lisle 34550 Handy Packer works well. I have three different types of trailers to keep the wheel bearing packed, and this makes the job go smoother and better overal quility. I would buy it again and recommend it.
