4.0 out of 5 stars Gets the job done, March 17, 2008
This review is from: Lisle 35400 Door Upholstery Remover (Automotive)
I bought this to get the door panels and trim off my car, to change out the speakers and the cd player. Works good, popped off all the panels I needed off.

M. Perry "Pollo Dustino" from Santa Ana has it right. I am also working as a technician and this tool is professional quality at an excellent price. I actually lost one of these and ordered another one as a replacement because I have not seen anyone in the shop using a better tool for the job. Excellent Lisle tool.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not just for upholstery!, October 15, 2011
This review is from: Lisle 35400 Door Upholstery Remover (Automotive)
I use this tool for everything! I'm a technician by trade and every time I need to pry something up, off, or out I reach for this tool. It is hands down my absolute favorite in my toolbox. It'll work on push-pins, wiring connector locks, wiring mounting tabs, trim panels, light housings, and anything else you can think of that needs prying. It's better than a screwdriver, and is a joy to use. The tips can get slightly bent if too much force is used, but that's true of any tool of this type, short of a dedicated prybar. However, just a quick little tap with a hammer or a slight bend back in the vise and it's good as new. I haven't been able to break the tips off, just slightly bend them. The shaft simply will not bend with the amount of force you'd typically use with this tool.

Well worth the money, many times over.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lisle 35400 Door Upholstery Remover, September 16, 2011

Purchased the 35350 Door Trim Remover along with the 35400 Door Upholstery Remover, was originally going to purchase only the Door Trim Remover but decided to purchase both. The 35400 offers a straighter shank which works well near seats and dashes which may pose clearance issues with the Door Trim Remover. The Door Upholstery Remover works well to slightly raise the edge of tight fitting trim panels to gain access to the fasteners. Both tools are well made offer good leverage, reach, and very rigid for the intended use, nice feel in the hand, and well made. As a added bonus the vendors on Amazon offered these tools at a lower price than they were listed on Ebay.

5.0 out of 5 stars pop that upholstery baby!, January 3, 2007
this thing is the greatest! It is worth its money- no more no less. oops! once you add the shipping charge it gets questionable. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, pop off door panels off cars, etc... and it was the cheapest one on Amazon (before the outrageous shipping charge) what more can I say- they emailed me to review it and I am done!!!
