This tool is an absolute must for anyone that works with automobiles. I lost my previous lisle tool so I desperately searched and again amazon had it! This makes removing and installing so easy and less time consuming. I would recommend this tool to anyone!

works well, but you MUST make sure that the valve you are working on can't move AT ALL when reinstalling springs and retainers, so that your valve keepers will be able to slip on properly.

This tool cut the time not only in half but was 5 times faster then the tool I rented from the parts store. I did return that tool once this tool came in. I recommend just buying this tool versus renting a tool that will cause you too loose the valve keepers. This magnet makes sure all your keepers are safe and accounted for. I strongly recommend buying this tool and recommend it with highest marks for quality and utility.

Best tool out there!!! Makes the job so much easier, finished 16 valves on a ka24de within 20 mins without removing the head. love it.

Works like a champ....Just be sure to plug any holes in the head if you do the valves on the engine otherwise you will likely end up dropping your oil pan to get them back....

Did not work on VW VR6 head and would not on many other VW's where the same valves-tappets are used. I was able to remove keepers with the tool but install was no go despite some modifications to the tool I attempted. Had to make me a tool myself.

This tool worked wonders. Used it on a head job on a Mazda and it worked fantastically. Only one complaint the coating on the handle leaves little silvery flakes everywhere.

I tried getting this amazing tool localy with no lucky. Finally found it on Amazon for alot less. It works great and was easy to use. It was to big around to use for dislodging the keepers. But worked great for installing. Only issue I had was the machined Handle was not cleaned after machining and would flake off in your hands.

I've use this tool on several heads now, including some with much stiffer than stock aftermarket springs, and it has been a great boon to aid removal and installation of the keepers very efficiently. I LOVE this tool.
