Solved my socket organization issue,

I bought a nice socket set on clearance a few years ago and the sockets just kept rolling around my cabinet. Finding a specific size was a tedious task for a simple job like an oil change.
This solved my organization problems...which means I can buy more tools. YAY! Strong magnets to hold sockets in place, and strong magnet on the back to hold the unit where ever you want...even vertically on the side of my metal tool cabinet.

Well conceived socket organizers (I bought 2 each of the 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 drive - for metric and english) that do what you expect. My only quibble, and it's a small one, is that the width of the spaces required that I skip one slot somewhere between my 1/4" and my 1/2" sockets, because the 1/4 fit fine in the first slot, but the 1/2 was too thick to fit with a standard progression of sizes.

I picked up the Makita 1/2 inch cordless impact wrench for way cheap, so naturally needed some sockets for the thing. Bought the Ingersoll-Rand sets in SAE and metric, and they came packed in these humongous blown plastic storage cases. They're excellent cases, but way too much real estate. So all but the five largest sockets from the two sets are in this rack. The leftover five are in a standard socket rail. Be warned, the rack is pretty heavy on its own, what with the magnets and all. So now all my impact crap neatly fits into a fat max tool bag, ready for when the need arises. Fortunately, that's not very often, cause that damn bag weighs a ton...

Wish it were bigger to hold a few more sockets but it's great as-isI have rails too which I use on non-metric sockets. This holds virtually all my metric sockets and is easy to carry downstairs to the garage

Best socket holder I have purchased for my sockets. The magnet holds them in place and I can find the correct socket with ease because the size of the socket can be arranged so that it is viewed easily.

Slick Organization,

These are very nice for organizing sockets, just don't think you can sling them around by the handle loaded with sockets because if you bump it into anything the sockets WILL go flying. Stonger magnets may help. That's my only complaint. Other than that, they're a 10.
