ok tool. I try my best to buy made

In U.S.A. even when cost is more. Usually they are a better tools and Lisle has been great. This company from the great state of Iowa sold out on us and this is now made outside the USA. I loved this company till now. I am returning this and the other tools I ordered at the same time from Lisle. The pictures here show a black C clamp probably very nice, but I received a silver one made overseas...Bummer.

The first review is CORRECT!

Based on that review I contacted Lisle directly and asked if their product matches the photos and they assured me that it does....but it does not. I do not appreciate being LIED to! It's the typical cheap import C press that most of the other products are. Even the plastic case reaks of cheap!

I say again: Do NOT buy this.

The tool I received was assembled in Taiwan, and did the job on my jeep without a hitch, very well made and durable, it is not black as pictured but silver, well worth the money.

this tool is the exact same thing you get from harbor freight for thirty bucks. only its 100 dollars higher than that. it doesnt say lisle anywhere on the the tool, packaging or paperwork. all it says is taiwan. i was lazy and didnt return it but should have. i did a lot of research before buying one of these because i wanted to buy american. its nothing like the picture but is exactly like a harbor freight. ya it does the job, but save ur money and just catch the HF one on sale for 30 bucks and get the same thing. truely disappointed
