Year after year Christy never ceases to delight his fans. This new album is no exception. He and Declan Sinnott complement each other like hand and glove, and their musical abilities blend perfectly in this mellow and melodious collection. Especially haunting, in a lovely Irish way, are "Gortatagort" "John O Dreams," and the title track "Listen." Declan performs a clear and touching vocal on "I will," and all of the other tracks are enjoyable and well arranged. As with all my Christy CDs, I listen to this one everywhere.
I have always been a Christy fan, and it is nice to hear the familiarity of his style with this new collection of songs. His vocals accompany me while driving, cooking, and relaxing in the evening. My 3 year old son even finds it soothing. Another winner from Christy and Declan, always consistent in pleasing their fans.
