Editorial Reviews

From AudioFile

Both the student and connoisseur of the classics will enjoy this series of inexpensive audiobooks, each of which includes a Dover-Thrift edition of the text. The newcomer to classic poetry and prose, in particular, may experience in their spoken form an awakening to the beauty and power of these literary masters. Fans of Edgar Allan Poe stories won't be disappointed by Larry Keith's masterful reading of 41 of Poe's poemsÐincluding "The Raven," "Ulalume" and "Annabel Lee." However, the relentless air of gloom and despair that runs through the collection makes it hard to listen to more than a handful of poems at a time. However, for Poe mavens, this collection is not to be missed. G.C. (c)AudioFile, Portland, Maine

To your kids or something. I don't know who finds this scary, though the poetry's fun. Ehh, instead of reading this, just watch the Simpson's episode. You'll get the benefit of having heard the whole poem, and the episode is cool.
