Not what I expected
I expected a little bit more information regarding how the phone works, but did not find it here. It is a good book explaning how Graham Bell started and ended with the telephone concept.

I bought this book for my grandson who loves to read, but sometimes gets discouraged by the length of "chapter books." Most shorter books at this reading level are fanciful fiction. This book is not too long, and it's informational as well. He loved reading about a "real man" who invented a "machine" we use daily.
