This is the original song from an EP of remixes. It's steeped in no wave punk funk, very reminiscent of the original ESG sound. It's a great song for any party situation; turn it up and crack that cowbell. There's a pervasive echo separating all the instrument tracks much like other two-piece rocks outfits such as the Black Keys and The White Stripes. The superb singing of Beth is the real standout performance here though. She soulfully drives through great lyrical movements like "Everybody knows someone like that, who borrows money and won't pay you back. They'll talk about you at the drop of a hat, lying to your face when they're caught." The only thing that keeps up with her voice is her bad arse attitude.
