I am compelled to write how much I like this audio Bible.
Michael Scherer reads in a professional manner that is "easy on the ears." I love how there's no background music, and the lessons are read in a very deliberate tone. I have felt like I am hearing these words for the very first time. As a member of the Episcopal Church, I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn more about the Bible.

The recording is fine and the reader's voice is excellent. My only problem was I thought it meant both Old AND New Testaments, so it was not the bargain I thought when I ordered it.
