This review is from: Listening in the Dark: The Acoustic Orientation of Bats and Men (Paperback)
Any student planning to study bat echolocation is first directed to this book. Don Griffin is a first-rank specialist in bat bioacoustics and animal cognition, who in this exceptionally readable book summarizes research in the field as it stood in the early 1960s. Highly recommended to anyone interested in how bats actually do it.
