I've used Listerine for years, ever since I was a little kid. In fact, I used Listerine for so long that when this new flavor came out, it took me a while to get used to the flavor because I was so used to the nasty original flavor!

Actually when this new flavor came out in 1992, I tried it right away, but I would buy the original flavor too if the store was out of this one. Many people won't remember this, but I think this was the only other flavor to come in the original glass bottle too. Now everything comes in plastic. I wish I'd kept some of the original bottles, I know it wasn't for safety they changed bottles because the glass bottles were so thick it was almost impossible to break them.

Back to this product, I use it for bad breath, kill germs and for sore throats. There are now many other brands, but it's like cereal, I'm so used to Listerine I refuse to use anything else.

The price has actually gone up a lot, and it's fairly expensive now, but I keep costs down by diluting it when I rinse, and it's not so harsh too that way.

Not overpoering at all, Leaves mouth and tastebuds feeling fresh and cool.

And since I have always been a Mint Freak since I was a little kid, it beats the taste of the other antiseptic-tasting mouthwashes, hands down.

Listerine Cool Mint Antiseptic Mouthwash is a liquid mouthwash with germ fighting antiseptic. This product, like others in the Listerine lineup, is formulated to kill germs and freshen breath. I have been using Listerine products for years and it is one of several oral hygiene products that I continue to purchase, due to its excellent record and trusted ability to perform as promised.

Listerine Cool Mint Antiseptic Mouthwash has a very strong mint flavor and some will say the taste is too extreme- to the point of burning. I find the taste fresh and good and I am able to tolerate it a little better than most people. Those who feel the taste is too extreme might want to consider using a little less and/or holding the liquid in the mouth for a shorter duration. You will still reap the benefits and the smaller amount of liquid should help to alleviate the problem with the harsh flavor.

Besides the ability of Listerine Cool Mint to freshen breath, the other important reason to use this product is for its germ- killing properties. This product contains special ingredients that destroy germs on contact, helping to prevent plaque and fight gum disease. There is clinical proof that Listerine Cool Mint does what it claims and its ability to fight gingivitis and other gum disease is reason enough to try this product.

Listerine Cool Mint Antiseptic Mouthwash is, overall, a very good product from a trusted name in health care. It kills germs, freshens breath, and protects against gum disease, making it a product certainly worthy of a recommendation. It is priced a little high, but it offers protection and peace of mind to the consumer, making it money well spent.
