5.0 out of 5 stars White Christmas
This product is wonderful and I have tried many whitening products. It also gives you fresh breath. Here is a trick for the cheap - use one strip for the top AND bottom. Just look in the mirror, smile with teeth touching and stick one on. In about 10 seconds, open your mouth and youve got a strip on top and bottom.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not So User Friendly
I have used many different types of Whitening strips in the past and when I saw the packaging that these ones dissolve on their own I thought it was about time someone came up with these. Well, I was wrong. Although the idea is a great one, in reality it doesn't quite work so well. The problem I found while using these is I cannot get them to stick to my teeth. In most...

5.0 out of 5 stars I was skeptical, but it works!, September 5, 2007
This review is from: Listerine Whitening Quick Dissolving Strips, Clean Mint Flavor, 56-Count Strips (Health and Beauty)
Pros:

-Comes with 56 strips.
-Individually wrapped, easy to apply and don't fall off.
-Works pretty well so far.

Cons:

-Initially some tooth/gum related pain.
-Some of the packages can be annoying to open.

I decided to try the Listerine Whitening strips, since they looked like a tempting new product, plus they were more competitively priced. I'm not sure what the hydrogen peroxide contents of these are, but initially I did have some of the associated tooth/gum pain. It felt like pain associated with a cavity, but worse. So I stopped treatment, and did the treatment a little slower. The pain only happened once, and I've since upped the treatment back two twice a day without problems.

The strips are individually wrapped, and are easy to apply. Make sure you follow the directions though! The cleaning material is only on one side of the strip, so make sure you align the notch correctly when applying the strip.

You leave it on for about 10 minutes, and afterwards, brush off the excess. I wasn't a heavy coffee drinker before this, so my teeth just had some yellowish-ness around the base of the teeth. Now, after just a week, my teeth look great in pictures, and upon examination in the mirror, the yellowish-ness is much reduced!

Can't wait to see the results after 2 weeks. Good thing there are plenty of extra strips included as well to continue the treatment.

4.0 out of 5 stars Tips and tricks and why i like them, October 28, 2008
If you are going to use this great product you need to learn these tips.
1.ALWAYS use sissors to cut open the package.
2.Once they are on your teeth, don't move it. I would not like the placing and try to move it...just trust me on this
3.If you can use the whole strip on your bottom teeth good for you! But I cut the bottom strip so that way it does not get on my lips and inner mouth.
4.Be careful with it. If you get pain, decrease your use.
5. Yes there is a film and if you foam and drool, swallow. The film goes away after an hour, but I dont mind it.
Why I love it:
1. So much easier for me to apply than Crest.
2. It dissovles
3 The strips don't taste horrible or make me gag like Crest does.
4. I can talk with these strips unlike crest.
5. Yes I can do multiple things while wearing these stips.

4.0 out of 5 stars I'm a believer!, December 23, 2007

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I received the Crest whitening strips when they first came out as a sample. I really liked them, except for the gunky feel on my teeth, and having to sit with them for a half hour, but i haven't used more than four strips of the crest.

I again received the Listerine strips when they first came out, and i again tried the new strips, and i REALLY liked them!

Pros - I noticed a big difference in my teeth after the first use (I dont smoke, and i never drink any staining beverages)

- Easy instructions (on the back of EACH strip, which is nice)
- You don't talk funny, or feel that you have something big in your
mouth.
- They aren't 'gunky' or oozy in your mouth
- The taste isn't over powering
- They didn't hurt my gums at all (I have extremely sensitive teeth
And gums, Crest strips were painful, Listerine strips didn't
bother me at all)
Cons

- The packaging is hard to open sometimes (If you use the pull ends)
But i just use scissors along the top and sides, where the pull
strips are.
- Easy to lose if you don't have a container to keep them in.
- Hard to find the actual strip sometimes (Super Clear)

As to the poster above me, they mentioned that the strips leave a residue on teeth.. I experienced this once, and a friend of mine also experienced it once as well... I think i found the problem though. If your mouth is dry, or warmer than usual when you first put it on.. It will leave some residue. (Im guessing this is because the strip needs your saliva to be able to fully dissolve) So before you do use a strip, take a sip of water, or something like it and you should have no problems! :D

Great product. I bought an extra box for christmas, and for each adult, i put two strips on their presents.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lives Up to Claims - Almost, September 24, 2007
I've been using the new Listerine Whitening Strips for about a week now. I've long been a fan of the Crest Whitening Strips, but what appealed to me about this product were the claims that you didn't have much residue on your teeth after use and that you wouldn't talk funny while using them.

I paid about $25 for a two-week supply. The two-week supply assumes you'll be using 4 strips a day; two upper and two lower.

PROS:
1. You really don't talk funny! It's true, you can talk as you normally would. These little strips stay put and don't impede speech.
2. They work. My teeth were noticeably whiter after only a few days. Can't wait to see what they look like after two weeks.

CONS:
1. Like other reviewers, I noticed a pretty daunting amount of tooth/gum pain with the first few uses. One session was bad enough to make me consider discontinuing use. I know, kinda crazy to press on with the trial, but I hate returning things to the store (in this case, Target) anymore. After the third day, the pain was completely gone, and the experience became much more pleasant.
2. They don't dissolve completely. You end up with a strange, stringy residue both on your tooth enamel and especially between your teeth that needs to be picked off and brushed off. I don't like brushing it off; I'm always afraid it's going to stick to my toothbrush.

In the end, at this price point, finding a product that is not only effective but also lets me communicate clearly while using it is great. I don't mind overlooking a little white marketing fib; I'll keep using these.

4.0 out of 5 stars Immediate results, December 18, 2007
By
Few months ago I've got involved with Bzz agent". They provided me with opportunity to experience Listerine Whitening Quick Dissolving Strips for 14 days and then tell other people my honest opinion.
I've just finished using the product and results are immediate: my teeth appear to be much whiter. There was an instance when I've experienced little pain (just 2 out of 14 times) due to sensitivity of my teeth, but other than that the strips were very easy to use , did not leave any unwanted residue after, they are individually wrapped and each strip has instruction how to apply it at the back of the product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Discontinued :((, November 5, 2011
This review is from: Listerine Whitening Quick Dissolving Strips, Clean Mint Flavor, 56-Count Strips (Health and Beauty)
I have tried many white strip products and none compare to these. Listerine's strips were the BEST strips on the market, why in the world did they get discontinued??? My teeth were super white(I used to get compliments all the time), the price was under $20 for a 56 count box, I never felt tooth sensitivity, & they dissolved on your teeth in about a half an hour. I would apply them just before getting into the shower and then brush my teeth after about 30mins of wearing them. Now that I have to use another brand my teeth just are not as white and my teeth are super sensitive. FML :((

5.0 out of 5 stars With Listerine, You Can't Go Wrong!, June 20, 2010

This review is from: Listerine Whitening Quick Dissolving Strips, Clean Mint Flavor, 56-Count Strips (Health and Beauty)
I'm 41 and have never used any type of whitening on my teeth. I am a coffee and soda drinker, and smoked up until 8 years ago. My teeth have seen the worst. My daughter suggested teeth whitening from the dentist, but I thought I would try something over-the-counter first. I scoured the internet for all the reviews on different products and I settled on this. Now, again, I don't know how this compares to other products, but what I can say is that I've only used them for three days and I look in the mirror and see teeth I don't even recognize. As I said, my teeth were in bad shape to begin with, so I don't know if one would see such great results if they were young and had good dentition. But I'm so happy with this, I've come back for more. Don't know what the final results will be, but I'm satisfied with the results I've gotten in just 3 days.

Pros:
noticeable results after just a few days
minty taste as opposed to the usual bleachy taste
dissolves in your mouth - no messy strips to take out
good price

I have tried Crest White Strips and home kits of professional bleaching gel. This is right up there with them!

I'm trying to think of some cons but can't
