Whether or not you are familiar with the various dances and marches on this album, it doesn't matter. Just fasten your seat belts and enjoy one of the most exciting musical rides imaginable! In particular, the opening "Scherzo und Marsch" is, in a word, breathtaking!

The marches take up all of CD 2, and CD 1 is quite tasty, with the "Scherzo und Marsch", his only mazurka, two galops, and the good and weird "Csardas macabre".
