A Dieting Bodybuilder's Must have!,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Lite Lifestyle (Spiral-bound)
Tremendous cook book if you need to diet really really strict (ie) no sugar or no fat. There are so many lower carbohydrate, high protein recipes here it's incredible and makes my diet so much easier that my boyfrend actually finds me pleasant to live with before a contest. Had I known about The Lite Lifestyle earlier, he may have married me by now!

So many cook books for bodybuilders are really useless because they have recipes with way too many ingredients or the books have recipes that are too fancy, complicated or intricate for the person whos suppose to be eating non stop. So, this book was different. I use a lot of the recipes, they come out fine and taste pretty good too.

Goes great with "A Taste of Club Creavalle"!,

Simple but classic recipes for everyday cooking including a listing of carbs and protein content so you're able to track your progress. The Hi-Fiber muffins have been a great success with all who have tasted them, and the soups are "souper"! Makes for a great pair along with "A Taste of Club Creavalle", as no recipes are duplicated between the two cookbooks.

Having met Laura personally at the Arnold Classic I thought I would give her book a try. Not only was I not disappointed I must say it is a must have for anyone who likes to eat great tasty food yet does'nt want the fat, calories and bad stuff associated with good food. Give it a try, you won't regret it. Thanks Laura!!

This is a very good cookbook with about 3 recipes per page. It uses vegetables and low fat ingredients. And also things like Equal sugar, tabasco, Mrs. Dash and fat free things. All of the recipes are low in calories and fat content as well as low in cholesterol. The content are from Soups to Dessert. It serves about 2-4.

Not for the ordinary family,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Lite Lifestyle (Spiral-bound)
I found this book to be almost useless for the "family" although it may be great for the body builders. I could not find some of the ingredients such as the sodium free Accent or sodium free Mrs. Dash, which is in the majority of the recipes. I also could not find the low fat pancake mix at our local grocery. I'm assuming that you can find these ingredients in your "big cities".

Can't find ingredients,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Lite Lifestyle (Spiral-bound)
I could not find some of the ingredients that were listed in the recipes. Most of them called for (sodium free) Accent or Mrs. Dash. All of which were not available at my local grocery. Some called for Sweet 'N Low in main dishes and a lot called for wine....which I do not keep in the house. I did not find these recipes helpful to me in my fight for a more fat free lifestyle.
