BD discs sometimes work, mostly doesn't, possibly due to crappy PowerDVD (bluray version that came with it) software. Regular DVDs & CDs work without issues.

I ordered the Blu ray drive from ComputerBrain and was sent a DVD/CD burner.

Sounds like a breach of contract issue to me. Even worse, ComputerBrain merely offered a refund, and they have no interest in honoring the contract. This will certainly be my last purchase from them, and Amazon shouldn't tolerate sellers who are allowed to avoid their obligations under a contract by merely offering a refund instead of honoring the contract. In this respect, I've also lost confidence in Amazon.

Me and 2 other friends ordered this last week from Computerbrain when it was on sale for $26. Got it today. Bad news for all of us is they didn't send a blueray drive. sent a dvd burner instead.

I ordered the LiteOn DH-4B1S Blu ray drive from Computer Brain. I instead received a CD burner; NOT the Blu ray burner that I ordered. The model number of the product received absolutely does not match the model number I purchased. I contacted Computer Brain but they merely agreed to provide a refund, of course blaming Amazon. Computer Brain was unappologetic and expressed no desire in sending the ordered item. Apparently, contracts don't mean much to them.
As for the product itself, I have no idea what the quality of the product is; as noted, Computer Brain shipped the wrong item.
