Great little light perfect for the headboard of your bed for reading or for a work area. It has a nice style and provides ample light for reading. The on/off switch is also easy to use. Finally, the light fixture comes with a florescent light bulb so it's ready to go.

I bought this for my 3 year old. It is very easy for him to turn on/off. It clips right to his bed and it doesn't get hot. Very good product for the price.

This is well made and works great. I was concerned about my headboard thickness for the clamp. My headboard is straight level and is 2" thick with a small radius on the front edge. The clamp just barely opens wide enough, but it has rubber pads, that keeps it from slipping off the rounded edge.

My daughters wanted reading lights and I found these after a little bit of searching. They fit the bill perfectly -- small form factor, good light, easy to use/setup -- also it was nice to get a CFL bulb included in the package. One glitch, however, was that 1 of the 2 I ordered had a broken switch, so I had to return it (and had no problems there).

After searching high & low for a small light I finally came across this little gem. I needed a light for reading while sitting in a recliner. A table lamp wouldn't work. I couldn't locate a suitable floor lamp. I did have a window sill in close proximity to the spot that required illumination, but any conventional light wouldn't fit on the sill. This baby is perfect - very sturdy clamp (clips to sill), far more handsomely styled than I would've accepted & it seems quite well made. On top of all the positives it also included a 13 watt CFL bulb, even though the the description stated bulb not included.

In my opinion considering all of the quality features & factoring in the excellent price Amazon offers it for, this product deserves more than a lowly 5 star rating.

Right out the box this light has been trouble. We ordered two. Comparing light one to light two, we realized the black plastic band at the base of the shade was missing. Further exploration resulted in finding the band at the bottom of the box in two broken pieces. It's just decorative, but it stilled galled me a bit. I'd have liked the lamps, destined for opposite poles of the headboard, to match. Later that day, the round plastic cap used to turn light two on and off completely detached while clipping the lamp to one of the poles. It can be shoved back on, but as soon as it is spun to activate the light, it detaches again. The switch beneath the cap still functions, so again, the plastic piece is just decorative. We ended up paying too much money for two broken but functional lamps. I highly recommend you go with a different manufacturer if you're buying clip on lamps.

This lamp broke the first time I turned it on! The switch mechanism is made of flimsy, brittle plastic, so didn't hold up to even one use. Instead of going through the hassle of returning it, I rigged up a new socket from the hardware store, secured it with duct tape (!), and used a cord with an in-line switch from an old broken lava lamp. Don't bother with this lamp. It's not worth the price.

I used these lamps for photography to light up the portacube. When I don't do photography, I attach them around the apartment and use them as additional light source. Very useful and they look modern. I like shiny silver color.

This lamp completely fell apart in less than a week, it now rests in my kitchen trashcan. DO NOT BUY
