This review is from: The Literacy Coach's Desk Reference: Processes And Perspectives for Effective Coaching (Paperback)
This is a nice "no nonsense" approach to literacy coaching. While no book can cover each subject in depth, this book is great for its practical advice. The author understands that you learned theory in your courses, and what you need as a practicing coach is advice to handle the day to day tasks, like conferencing with teachers, setting goals and working with reluctant or even aggressive staff members. I highly recommend this for up and coming coaches.
