5.0 out of 5 stars Love this book!, January 20, 2011
This review is from: Literary Women: The Great Writers (Paperback)
Probably because I have struggled to finish writing a book for years, but maybe not.........I simply love this book. I especially love the information on how Harriet Beecher Stowe struggled to write Uncle Tom's Cabin while living in those times with enormous difficulties as a women and having to put up with so much!
She referred to her struggles to find time to write as "rowing against the wind and tide." What a fabulous description. As the woman who wrote such a revolutionary book, she was still wondered if she had done enough with her life. Thank you for bringing her to light.
