The Folklore of a Little-Known People,
By Frederick Smith (United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Folk Literature of the Ge Indians (Ucla Latin American Studies) (Hardcover)
Folk Literature of the Gê Indians is a well-researched and well-constructed volume of folklore of one of the indigenous Indian groups of Brazil's Amazon Basin. At over 600 pages, this text is a welcome addition to any folklore library. The tales are well told and each includes a full list of motifs.
