Literature and Language Teaching is for teachers and trainers who want to incorporate literature into the language classroom. It is suitable for teacher trainers, teacher development groups or teachers working on their own. Written in a clear, user-friendly fashion, this is a very useful book that can be used by teachers and teacher trainers in exploring the issues involved in, and the learning/teaching techniques that facilitate, the incorporation of literature in the language classroom.The book is a mine of ideas for practical use in the classroom. I would strongly recommend it to English language teachers who are looking for ways to reach the mind and touch the hearts of their students.
