I bought three of these fans and have been mostly pleased with them. They were easy to assemble and install. I only had one issue... There is a "skirt" piece that is suppose to go over the down rod (above the hugger, but below the very top cover) if you are not installing as a hugger. After much frustration, I gave up on trying to keep that on there - when on, it...

If the fan isn't on hi speed, it makes a whining noise. I had hoped for a little more air flow on hi speed, but it is OK.

I bought three of these fans and have been mostly pleased with them. They were easy to assemble and install. I only had one issue... There is a "skirt" piece that is suppose to go over the down rod (above the hugger, but below the very top cover) if you are not installing as a hugger. After much frustration, I gave up on trying to keep that on there - when on, it allowed no room to connect the wires at the top. You can't see it anyway and there seems to be no structural need for it. Have been running for a couple of months and work well and are mostly quiet.
