This battery, although it has the same ratings as the OEM battery, is slightly thicker. It seems to work okay, but its extra thickness means that the battery cover has to be slightly deformed to close properly.

If you have an extra-capactiy battery cover, though, this battery would work okay, that's why I gave it two stars instead of one.

I purchased this battery for my LG VX3200 phone and had to return it.

After I installed it, my phone displayed "Use Genuine Battery." I am not sure whether the problem was this particular battery or if it is the type of battery.

The first unit I got was not recognized by my phone. The second unit is thicker that the original battery, so it is hard to stuff it into the phone. I haven't tested this definitively yet, but it is my impression that this battery won't last as long on a full charge as the original battery. It is reliable, just (perhaps) for not as long as it should be. And the price was good.
