The battery is fine, it is just thicker than the original battery that came with my phone so it adds some girth to the phone when you are putting it in your pocket, etc. I don't know if this is because it is a longer-life battery or not...

Also, it seems to take a longer time to recharge with the car-recharger that I got with the accessory kit from the same company. Again, I don't know if this is because of the battery, the recharger, or what.

All in all, though it is a fine battery and definitely a better deal, given the price, than what the Verizon Wireless store wanted to replace the original!

There are two problems with this battery:
1. It's bigger than the original battery, so it sticks out at the back and makes your phone bigger.
2. It loses its ability to hold a charge within months.

If you're going to buy a non-OEM replacement, make sure it's cheap, because you'll need to replace quickly. I would advise buying an original LG battery.

Phone batteries for old phones are notoriously expensive and hard to find. This battery was easy to get and resonably priced. It fit the phone and came fully charged. What more can I ask for in a battery.
