Saw a couple for reviews that mentioned a tight fit. I tried the battery in a VPC-F1HA, and it fit like a glove. No force or filing needed. One thing to note: capacity of this product is 1600mAH. The original battery from Sanyo is 1900mAH.

I purchased this for use with my new Sanyo Xacti VPC-FH1A. For the price it almost seemed too good to be true: an extra battery and a charger that can be used in the home or car for under $20. I've only had it for a week, but... so far so good! I charged the new battery in the wall for about an hour and then placed it in my camera. It fits, but it is a very snug fit (slightly challenging to remove compared to the original that will just fall out). The camera read as fully charged and worked just fine.

I haven't used the battery extensively, so I can't yet speak to its durability and ability to maintain a charge compared to the original. If there are any issues, I'll amend my review, otherwise consider me a satisfied customer.

It works! Agree with one of the reviewer. The battery is just a little thicker than the original. I can feel it when putting the battery in the compartment but no problem closing the cover at all. Together with the charger and the car adapter, I've found it to be a good buy.

Seller Knows That These Batteries Are NOT MADE TO SPEC / IF THE BATTERY YOU BUY FITS "TIGHT" (Not Just Like Your stock battery ) DO NOT USE IT !! It can catch on FIRE (Google LIPO batteries)

I received the item in short order. I made the mistake of not checking it.

The battery they sent me is the wrong one!

The battery is 'FOR'? NP-FG1. I dobn't know the correct number, but this is not for the SANYO VP HD1010!

If you will mail me the correct battery, I'll return the incorrect one.

If you'll tell me your address, by e-mail, I'll send you the one I received.

I wanted a smaller and lighter battery charger for my new Sanyo Xacti camera, instead of carrying the included power supply and long cords with me on trips. What I like about this one is that it plugs directly into the wall with no bulky power cords to carry. It also came with an extra battery, which could be useful on long days. First thing I did when I got it was to charge the included battery. It charged up in an hour or two (I don't remember now, I didn't time it) and then I began using the battery in my camera. The battery seems to be holding the charge just fine. I will be bringing this unit with me on my vacation for sure.

Product as described. Charger works great both AC and in the car. Battery fits the camera properly.

It does fit very snugly in the charger and is very difficult to get out, but I had no problems getting it in and out of my video camera. Regardless, it's far cheaper than the branded replacement battery and having a charger that works both in the car and in a regular wall socket is a huge plus.

The item is ok but it seems pretty cheaply made. The battery fit way to snug I had to file off some of the case to make it fit. It is what you pay for.

This charger and battery are designed to be used with the Sanyo Xacti series like the Sanyo VPC-FH1A Full HD Video and 8 MP Digital Photos (Black). The charger is AC and DC allowing you to charge batteries in the car using the cigarette lighter plug or at home in an standard outlet. The battery was a perfect fit into the Xacti and gave me about five hours of shooting and warm stand-by (mostly on stand-by). Since these little cameras can record many hours on a single SDHD chip it's worth stocking up on batteries to keep you shooting video.
