Do not buy anything from this store.

The battery failed less than 4 weeks after putting it into service. I made the mistake of being too busy to notify the company right away. When I did, they informed me of their 30-day return policy.

While Dell's batteries cost twice as much, they come with a one-year-replacement warranty. The poor quality of this battery and the store's refusal to stand behind their product more than 30 days makes this a very poor deal. I had the pleasure of using the battery for the equivalent of about $4 per day. Bad battery. Bad store. Bad deal.

Another lesson on "Do not buy high tech products for cheap!"

Battery failed in less then 4 months and now I have to buy another. This time it will be DELL original. Actually I was intended to buy DELL original from the beginning, but misread the description apparently.

Do not buy this item. It started to fail 2 months after I purchased it, and completely failed within 7 months. The battery from Dell, while more expensive, lasted twice as long. Spend the extra money and buy it from Dell.

I was sorely disappointed when my original dell laptop battery died after a 14 months of use. Since I was pass the 12 month warranty, Dell refused to give me a new battery. After some research, I found out that this is a common problem in E1505 laptop designs.

I purchased this battery because it was cheaper than the batteries on the Dell website. This battery looks like the original battery, however it does not fit like the original battery did. However, it is not blatantly obvious. It is also similar in weight.

With my screen brightly lit, I get about 4 hours of battery life. With my screen at the dimmest light, I get about 5.5 hours of battery life.

The only problem I have with this battery is that the sellers say this is a Dell Battery. After examining the product, I doubt it. This battery does not say Dell anywhere unlike the original.

So far, this battery is working well. I would recommend others to purchase this battery.

When my daughters laptop battery started dying I checked around for a replacement from Dell and got a price that made me want to gag. I started looking around and this was the cheapest around. I've had it for 3 months with no issues and ordered another one for my pc to have a spare at a reasonable price

Bought this as a replacement battery for my wife's Dell Inspiron E1505. The charge capacity dropped off at a steady rate over 4 months, until it now holds no charge (laptop turns off immediately if the power cord becomes unplugged). You're not really saving money buying this product, unless you only need another 6 months out of your laptop.

Like the previous reviewer, I purchased this as an alternative to Dell's outrageously expensive replacement battery. My Dell battery had for some reason simply stopped charging and gave an "invalid battery" message. I picked this one up, snapped it in and charged and discharged it as you're supposed to, to calibrate the battery.

For about 2 weeks, everything was fantastic. I was getting 4 hours of battery life per charge.

Then without warning, the battery started failing around 25% charge - without Windows notifying me and without saving any of my work. That was two months ago, now it dies around 70%. I have tried multiple calibration tools and methods and I've come to the conclusion that this battery is worthless.

This is the second non-Dell battery I've purchased, the other one also barely lasted on a charge but at least Windows properly read its level.

If you aren't willing to buy a real Dell battery, just don't buy Dell. HP batteries range from $69 to $150 (way less than Dell) and most other companies are also far less expensive than Dell. Personally I'm working on getting a MacBook, my Inspiron has just given me too many problems.

I bought this battery to replace the one in my Dell Inspiron E1505. Dell wanted a fortune for a new one and the original one that came in my Inspiron did not last but 14 months and died in my arms. I called Dell and got the tough luck speach. I even had an extended warranty on my laptop but guess what???? It did not include the battery. Hmmmmm suspicious, could it be that no battery will last in this computer?

Anyway.....I bought the replacement battery from this seller on February 3rd 2009. I am back to tell you that it did not make it a year and it is now about to take it's last gasp. The price was good.....but it seems that I am one of the lucky ones. I got almost a year out of it. Seems like most people are not getting near that. So hear I am in a quaundry as to how to rate this product. Is it worth the money? For the length that it lasted for me and the amount of time I spend on my computer....probably so......but if I was indeed a lucky one who got much more time out of hers than most.....then I would have to say no. But then again.......Dell wanted over $200 for a replacement and this was much cheaper and for me lasted nearly as long as my original Dell battery...so for that.....I would have to say.....yes. So you can see why I am in a quandry as to whether to tell anyone to buy this thing or not.

All I know is that now my computer is attached to an outlet like a newborn is attached to it's Mother before the cord it cut and it's a real pain. So I am off to research more batteries.

As for this particular seller? I honestly can not say anything bad about them. I got the battery very quickly...in a day or two.....it was a good price.....it lasted as long as my Dell battery.....so they really did me no harm.....but it would have really been nice to have gotten a bit more life out of it and again, after reading the other reviews about how long their batteries lasted I think I will travel elsewhere to find my next replacement.

Like most other customer reviews, this was a terrible purchase. The batter only worked for one month. Do not buy anything from this store. I regret ever doing so myself and so will you. I would give it 0 stars but you have to put at least one.

I purchased this battery for my dell inspiron. After 2 weeks of use the battery would not charge beyond 27%. Poor quality battery. Do not buy from this vendor.
