I think this is a great deal. I get around 5-6 hours off of this new battery. Must buy good battery.

This is a late review as I have been using the battery for 2 1/2 years and it still retains +/- 90% of it's original life. I'll buy another as soon as this one dies.

I bought this battery in July 2008. It's September 2009 and it's dead. At first it was amazing. My computer was a super star, running about 4-5 hours on a charge. However, 3 months ago or so, it started draining a LOT faster. Now it's down to 20 min. Perhaps it's my computer or the battery. I own a T43, so it's definitely getting old. However, the battery only lasted about a year for me. Any one else experience this?

This seller brilliant store does not sell the Fedco battery. I received a Dekcell battery that they also sell thru Amazon for a lesser price. It would only last for 1 hour. They did give me a refund but I am out the shipping cost. Beware the bait and switch.

I ordered this as a supplement to original battery for my R51 laptop. The old one was only lasting about 2 hours; this one about 4, which allows me to use it on a long plane trip. So far, works great and price was reasonable.

Just be aware that to get the extended battery life, the battery has to be bigger. No big deal except if you try to dock it in a docking station or port replicator. Because the battery sticks out the back, it won't dock. So I use my old battery in the docking station and this one when I'm traveling.

Nineteen months after using this battery everyday, it's now showing some signs of wear. Occasional reconditioning restores some capacity, but from a high of about 2.5 hours, am now down to 40 mins per charge, all things being equal.

I've modified the cycle, as suggested by the IBM Battery Maximizer app, hoping this will extend the life some more. Apparently, if you're plugged in most of the time, it's better to get the charger to stop at less than 100% capacity, and start recharging at below 90% capacity.

Nothing wrong with the battery, really. It works as advertised. I just wished it would have lived a little longer.

battery life is only about 18 months old, then it will last about 1 hour before dying on you on a full charge. Looks more like a Ni-Cad than a Lithium-Ion.

It is as advertised. The strength of the battery is great. I keep a spare and when not in use it is kept in the refrigerator at about 35 degrees with a 40% charge. That way the battery only loses about 2 percent of its life each year. Never completely discharge a lithium battery. It will destroy it. Your lap top computer already knows when to shut down.

I ordered from the BrilliantStore, very prompt earlier than expected delivery - well packaged and arrived in good condition. I have been using this for almost 3 weeks now. The product image says its Energy+, but what I received is a Dekcel battery. It seems to be working perfect, depending on my T43 settings such as screen brightness and applications in use, the battery seems to last anywhere from 4 to 6 hours. Highly recommended.

A decent battery at a very good price. Holds a charge well and seems to provide more usable hours per charge than the original. I would buy this one again.
