Product Description

It glows when it blows. Smart Glow fuses are innovative automotive style fuses (ATO, Mini, Maxi and glass tube) that feature an indicator light that glows when the fuse is blown, saving time to troubleshoot an open circuit. Hard to find blown fuses in dimly-lit dashboards are easier to identify, giving fleet maintenance departments the ability to quickly return vehicles to operation. They are designed to be drop-in replacements for existing automotive applications, but can be used in any low voltage application up to 100 amperes where indication is beneficial.

First off, MINI type fuses are usually for Japanese or Asian cars, but double check

These are one of the most ingenious ideas i have seen in working with automobiles over my life. They are high quality plastic, not the clear type that will crack after a couple years, and the best part, they will glow when they are blown (providing that the ACC is on) which can save you alot of trouble, especially if you travel.

I was fixing a flat tire off a highway, and was ignorant enough to blow the cigarette lighter fuse after drawing too many amps for my air compressor, and it took forever to find the blown fuse, i had to pull and visually inspect each fuse in darkness. With these , i will hopefully never have that problem.

Fuses in general are supposed to be cheap, and granted, not many people pay attention to them, however, if you are looking on this page, you probably appreciate the time and effort these can save

I do warn however, if you plan to replace all the fuses in your car with these, like i planned, most likely gonna see a prevalence in a specific fuse type ,mostly the 7.5 and 10 amp fuses.

So this 10 pack for the 15 amp fuses really helps out, 2 of these covered all the 15's and gave me extras

What can be more helpful in finding a blown fuse than if the fuse lights up when it blows. What a great idea. I'm installing these in all of my cars...
