5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful little book!, April 17, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Little Acts of Grace (Paperback)
Although written for young children in order to gently introduce them to some of the little things we Catholics do (sign of the cross, genuflecting, using holy water, praying to Mary or the saints, etc.), this sweet book is a gem for anyone Catholic or anyone who ever wanted to know about such things. The whimsical illustrations are charming and especially appealing to very young children. The book is a perfect First Communion/Confirmation or birthday gift for a child or a gift for an adult who is becoming Catholic or thinking about doing so. I've already bought five copies!

5.0 out of 5 stars sweet, fun, and informative, September 26, 2005
This review is from: Little Acts of Grace (Paperback)
It's a great little book that my 4 year olds enjoy and it instructs them about little things to do to honor God, like kneeling before the tabernacle. It's also informative for my 13 year old who wants to know "why" we do these things. The 4 year olds pick it often as a bedtime book.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Place to Start, September 12, 2005
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Little Acts of Grace (Paperback)
We were looking for a beginning level Religious Ed.type of book for our pre-k child. This is exactly what we were looking for. I was expecting when I ordered it for it to be a story of sorts. But it's not set up that way. It's set up so that each page is a seperate lesson/topic. Having the lesson ideas so short is great for the pre-K level child they can grasp the message quickly and you can elaborate in your conversation with the child. It's been a big help to be able to refer to it during mass and remind our child to listen to the priest. We bought this book along with the 'Just Like Mary' and 'The Mass Book for Children' books. I'm very excited about these books as a set and anticipate graduating from one up to the next. It would have been nice to have been able to purchase them in a set.

By A Customer
This review is from: Little Acts of Grace (Paperback)
It's a great book. I gave it out to the kids in my religion class at the end of last year. Little Acts of Grace is written so young children can easily understand it and acts as a great reminder for older Catholics! It makes a great gift and it's a good book to have in your home collection too!

This is a very sweet and informative book, and the message within is easy to understand. Both my granddaughters - ages 8 and 5 - enjoy reading and learning from this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, January 10, 2010

Really like the way this book is set up. It might be a little advanced for my 3 year old but I'm starting early. Not really one to read in church because it may require extra explanation from the parent. But it does give a lot of information. Great starting point. Good for families and parents to start teaching their kids the basics of mass.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for God's children of all ages, December 6, 2008
This review is from: Little Acts of Grace (Paperback)
I bought this as a prayer book for my 3 1/2 year old and I love reading it. It has so many beautiful scriptures and pictures. We all could learn from the way children love Our Lord and this book reminds us of that.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent reminder for Catholics, September 28, 2008
This review is from: Little Acts of Grace (Paperback)
Catholic adults have an obligation to teach little Catholics about the little things we learned as children that are being forgotten: to bow our heads at the name of Jesus, to remember our patron saints, to honor the presence of Jesus whenever we pass a Catholic church. This little book is well written and has lovely illustrations.
