This second installment of the misadventures of Little Annie Fanny are excellent! The book features countless images of Annie's beautiful body. No one could resist this ultimate "dumb blonde" cartoon as it makes for hours and hours of fun and enjoyment. This is a must have of any collection!

The recent review by Brian Paull, saying that half the contents of this volume are repeats of volume 1, is 100% wrong: there is no overlap. This volume picks up where the previous one left off.

The satire will take many of us back to a time when what now seem like distant memories were current events, through which our wide-eyed Annie traipses, baring her breasts at every opportunity. I don't find the satire particularly funny, actually, but my enjoyment of the series lies elsewhere - and not just the [...]!

The art is very good, though not quite up to the standards of volume 1. It begins a slow decline about a third of the way from the end, becoming surprisingly clumsy by the end (though the Frazetta parody panel is superlative).

You get over 200 glossy color pages, beautifully reproduced. A lot of bang for the buck here. Highly recommended.

Minus one because it doesn't make me laugh and for the drop off in the quality of the art.

If you compare this book (both Dark House editions) to the printed books of 1972, 1968, and 1964...you notice clearly HOW dark and dingy the reproduction is in these volumes. Are they worth $18.00? Of course! But compared to the old school print process (of 30 to 45 years ago) the reproduction sucks.
I guess these are scans of prints and NOT photos or plates made from the original art. I would bet $1000 on it.
These looks like scanned art to a degree.
It's a shame they did not go all out and reprint these wonderful strips as they were presented.
Only old school book collectors like me, will ever see the TRUE beauty of these strips.
Only 3 stars.

As with a lot of high-concept comics features, Kurtzman's and Elder's ultra-high-concept "Little Annie Fanny" is best taken in small doses--as a reading experience, at least. Harvey Kurtzman's approach to humor here was topical to a fault and not at all subtle, with the thud of anvils often drowning out what chuckles might otherwise have been had. Visually, however, both volumes of the collected strip are feasts for the eyes of fans of good-girl art, with the added joy of its unmistakable Mad magazine underpinnings. Kurtzman's dense yet masterful layouts are where his true genius comes to the fore, and they are given splendid realization in full painted color by his indispensable collaborator Will Elder, with an informal roster of fellow greats lending a hand-- Jack Davis, Russ Heath, Frank Frazetta and Al Jaffee, just to name the ones that come immediately to mind. Serviceable articles on the development (vol. 1) and production flow (vol. 2) are included, as well as capsule overviews of each episode that go a fair way to clarifying the increasingly dated (and not always obvious at the time) topical references.
