Grade 7-Up This thick volume with a small trim size is filled with full-color archival art. What it amounts to is an advertisement for, or perhaps a love letter to, the Disney Company. There are many interesting tidbits about obscure employees who made a contribution to films and theme parks. There is a particular emphasis on women who contributed to the organization's legacy, including Retta Scott, its first female animator. But for every interesting piece of trivia there is also a silly bit of nonsense. And while the table of contents breaks down the material by topic, for example, "Magic Kingdoms," the book is not organized accordingly; readers must return to the table of contents to look up each page separately if they want to find all of the items under a particular heading.
